Stand with Ukraine
Elijah Manley unequivocally and firmly stands with the Ukrainian people against Russia’s brutal invasion. A strong U.S.-Ukraine relationship is necessary to push back against Russian aggression, protecting European stability, and international law. In Congress, Elijah will stand with Ukrainians by supporting sanctions and humanitarian & military aid. The U.S. should support diplomacy between Ukraine and Russia, but any peace deal must include full Ukrainian sovereignty, including the return of Crimea, all occupied territories, and the withdrawal from Ukrainian territory.
Support for NATO
NATO is vital for peace, democracy, and global stability. In Congress, Elijah will strengthen U.S. partnerships with our allies to deter aggression, uphold international law, and fight authoritarianism.
Stand with Taiwan
Taiwan's right to self-determination and democracy is an American priority. In Congress, Elijah will work to strengthen U.S.-Taiwan relations, deter aggression from China, promote peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region, and fight Chinese aggression in the South China Sea.
Israel-Palestine
Elijah Manley believes in the right to peace, dignity, and safety for both Israelis and Palestinians, including Israel and Palestinian right to self determination. He calls for an immediate ceasefire, the release of ALL hostages immediately, and an end to the violence that has devastated Gaza and endangered civilians in both Israel and Palestine. The U.S. must lead with diplomacy, providing and demanding humanitarian aid for Gaza, and pressure to end the war.
Elijah condemns Hamas terrorists for the brutal and unacceptable October 7th, 2023, terror attack that claimed the lives of 1,300 Israeli civilians and the kidnapping of hundreds more. Furthermore, he condemns the far-right Netanyahu government for its bombardment of Gaza, collective punishment, illegal settlement expansion in the West Bank, blockade of humanitarian aid, including food and water, and disregard for international law.
In Congress, Elijah will be an advocate for a just and lasting peace rooted in the value of human rights, an end to violence and suffering, and security for both peoples.
Iran
Elijah supports rejoining and expanding the Iran Nuclear Deal. He also believes in targeted sanctions on the Ayatollah's regime without harming civilians. Empowering the Iranian people to fight the Ayatollah's authoritarianism is a key policy focus of Elijah. Preventing Iran from getting a nuclear weapon is a key U.S. objective—but it must be done through strong diplomacy, and smart negotiations, not military action.
