Expand Union Rights

Every worker deserves to have a union, fair pay, and a voice in the workplace. Elijah will protect the right to organize, oppose union-busting practices, and support legislation that makes it easier to form a strong union. Elijah will cosponsor the PRO ACT in Congress.

End Gig WORKER Exploitation

Gig workers are workers too, and they deserve fair wages, good benefits, and workplace protections. In Congress, Elijah will support guaranteeing a minimum wage, overtime, and the right to organize for a union for all contract and app-based workers.

Workplace Protections

All workers deserve to be safe on the job. Elijah will support the enforcement of tougher labor standards, more prosecution of wage theft, the empowerment of federal agencies to combat workplace harassment, and protection for whistleblowers.

Fully Fund OSHA

A stronger OSHA means a safer workplace. In Congress, Elijah will introduce legislation to fully fund OSHA and expand their capacity to inspect more workplaces, hold bad employers accountable, educate workers and employers, and strengthen their alliances. Elijah's legislation will strengthen and increase penalties & fines, and create a Workplace Safety Prosecutor within the U.S. Department of Labor.
