New Youth-Driven PAC Supporting Global Aid Endorses Elijah Manley for Congress

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The Alliance for American Leadership, a political action committee fighting to strengthen U.S. global aid, endorsed Democratic congressional candidate Elijah Manley at its launch party in Palm Beach County over the weekend.
The Alliance was founded by Palm Beach County resident Asher Moss following the destruction of the U.S. Agency for International Development. The organization says it now has more than 1,000 campaign volunteers nationwide, including a significant presence in South Florida.
“We are the political force that will restore global aid.” Asher Moss, Executive Director of the Alliance said. “We believe America should be a humanitarian leader on the world stage. A force for good.”
Speaking at the event, Manley emphasized the importance of global aid to both regional and global stability.
“Foreign aid is important, and South Florida is the gateway to the rest of the world,” Manley said. “It matters for trade, for immigration and for our economy. What’s happening in Haiti and Venezuela shows why the United States must lead on the global stage, not just through military force, but by supporting people who are going through the struggle.”
Over the past two decades, USAID has saved more than 90 million lives through famine relief, disease prevention, and other lifesaving interventions. Yet USAID accounted for just one cent of every three federal dollars, delivering extraordinary impact at a vanishingly small cost to taxpayers. This year, for the first time, China will deliver more foreign aid than the US - threatening to take America’s position as the world’s leading power. Manley believes the federal government should restore USAID and increase spending on aid programs to 2% of the federal budget.

Over 70 people attended the Florida Launch Party of the Alliance for American Leadership, where Elijah Manley was awarded the PAC’s endorsement.
